We grilled hot dogs and corn. Then dad and I whittled skewers out of maple twigs for marshmallow roasting. We drove down into the valley to see all the fireworks shooting up from backyards everywhere. 
They got a chance to scope out our new place and visited Paradise at Mt Rainier. Luckily, they brought the sun with them and were able to enjoy a clear day at the mountain.
